HoldFee
For WordPress sites, booking platforms and phone bookings

No-show fees for your bookings, with a card on file.

Works with the booking tools you already use

Keep taking bookings the way you do. HoldFee reads them from your booking tool and adds the card on file, the notice and the fee.

How it works

Nothing to build. Create your account, connect your bookings, finish setup with Stripe.

Step 1

They book, they save a card

Every new booking gets an email with a secure link. The card is held by Stripe, and nothing is charged.

Step 2

A no-show opens a fee, and you decide

Nothing is charged, and the client hears nothing, until you press Charge. Then they're told what is charged and why, and you still have 48 hours to change your mind.

Step 3

Charged and paid into your bank

Through your own Stripe account, with the evidence for any dispute. Refund any time.

Already taking deposits?

HoldFee works like a deposit, except the clients who turn up pay nothing upfront, and there is no deposit to refund or to take off the bill.

A deposit

Every client pays before they come

  • Part of the price upfront, from the clients who always turn up too.
  • A refund to send, or a credit to track, when a client cancels in time.
  • An amount to take off the bill when they come.
HoldFee

Only a no-show or a late cancellation pays

  • Clients save a card when they book. Nothing is charged today.
  • Nothing to refund and nothing to take off the bill: a client who comes pays at the salon, as before.
  • A no-show or a late cancellation is charged the fee you set, after a notice, and you can waive it.

Keep your deposits if you want both: a booking paid in full online is left alone, and a booking with a deposit still gets its secure link and your fee.
